QuickBand Anti-Skid Overbanding Tape - HAPAS Approved

BBA HAPAS approved, Quickband Thermoplastic Overbanding Tape, manufactured in the UK by Kestrel Thermoplastics Ltd. HAPAS Certificate 17/H265.

This high quality, easy to use tape outperforms the requirements of the UK Highways Skid Resistance figures of > 60 SRV initial > 50 SRV retained. The dispersed aggregate means that as the repair wears, fresh aggregate comes to the surface. Certified Results of initial SRV figures of 82 retained SRV of 75 SRV have been achieved.

Bitu-band is used for sealing joints or repairing cracks in asphalt tarmac of up to 5mm wide, preventing water ingress. Ideal for use with HRA or Britmix 10mm Reinstatement Mix for sealing utility reinstatements. The Overbanding Tape is impregnated throughout with Calcined Bauxite aggregate, for prolonged repair life. Full instructions included in every box - tools required include stiff broom, knife gas torch - simply clean, dry, cut, apply heat.

BBA approved ONLY when used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions as detailed in the Certificate referenced above. Compatible for use with the Britmix Reinstatement Method.
